Here you will find hand crafted knives that fit into a wide range of outdoor activities.  I use two main steels for crafting them ... 80CRV2 carbon steel and S35vn stainless steel.  




"Bush Hunter"
3 5/8" blade of 5/32" steel.  Brass or Stainless hilt.  4 1/4" handle of natural, black, or green Micarta.  Excellent small drop point hunting knife.  Pouch sheath supplied.

4" blade of 1/8 to 5/32 inch thick.  Around 8 1/2 inches overall length.  Red linen Micarta handle.  A custom verson of a classic Pukko design.  Wood lined leather sheath.

The Bush Classic 2.0 is my interpretation of the classic British knife that was developed by Alan Wood and Ray Mears. 1/8 or 5/32 thick 80CRV2 or .148 thick CPM S35vn stainless. This is the  "Bush Runt" ... The model shown is an enclosed tang clip point model that is similar to the drop point "Bush Hunter" model. Approximately 7 3/4 inches long with around a 3 3/8 inch blade. With or without a hilt it makes an excellent hunting as well as bushcraft knife.

The "Ferret" is a heavier duty small knife. I usually make them out of somewhat thicker steel than most small knives. I do it in both 80CRV2 carbon or S35vn stainless steel.
MK20
MK20 "Savage" is made of 1/8 or 5/32 thick 80CRV2 or .148 thick S35vn.  I is 8 1/2 inches long with 4 1/2 inch handle. This is a knife that my son, Newt, designed in conjunction with Estella Wilderness Education. It is a nice all around knife that will work well as a survival/bushcraft knife as well as a hunting knife. I do them with or without a hilt / guard.
 
MK30
MK30 "Bush Sprout" ... A small 3 finger knife that works great as a EDC.  I do them in carbon or stainless.  The blade is around 3 1/4 inches long and the handle about 3 1/2 inches long.  Weight runs around 3 1/2 ounces.  
MK25 Bush Tool ... Around 8 1/2 inches long with a 4 1/4 inch blade. Designed with the bushcrafter in mind. I have customized it with a steel pommel at times which comes in handy if you need to use it for light pounding on a tent peg.

MK6
MK6 "Companion" ... 3 1/4 inch blade.  4 1/4 inch handle.  Nice spear point blade.  Makes and excellent small knife for the camper or hiker or hunter.  Good for working with wood or prepping small game.

"Papoose" ... An excellent choice for EDC or for chores better suited for a small knife. Works well as a package with a larger knife. 6 inches overall length with 2 1/2 inch blade.
MK4
MK4 "Little Llano" ... Smaller version of the MK4 "Llano".  The drop point blade makes a great hunting knife.  3 5/8 inch blade and 4 1/4 inch handle. 

 
MK21
MK21 "Yucatan Skinner"
3 3/4" long full flat ground blade with 4 1/4 inch handle.  Designed specifically for skinning purposes, but with the drop point it can also be used for field dressing.  
MK29
MK29 "Foxfire"
Full drop point from the hilt down to the tip.  Good for all purpose hunting knife.  3 3/4" full flat grind and 4 1/4" handle.

 
MK34
MK34 "Semi Skinner"
This one is made in the Loveless style and tradition.  It makes an excellent small hunting knife.  the blade is 3 1/2 inches long and the handke is 4 1/4 inches long.

 
MK35
MK35 "Utility"
My version of the Loveless Utility knife.  Has a 3 7/8 inch long blade with a 4 1/4 inch handle.  Great all purpose knife.

 
MK31
MK31 "Hitchhiker"
Sometimes you just need a smaller knife for the job.  This one has all that you need for the small chores that come up around camp or hunting.  And, it just looks cool too.  Comes in at just 6 1/2 inches overall length.  The blade is 2 3/4 inches long.



 
MK12 
MK12 "Rim22"
My little Bowie knife.  Makes a great bird & trout knife.  It has a 4 inch blade and a 4 1/8 inch handle.  Cool looking little knife.

 
MK9
MK9 "Venandi"
No frills medium duty hunting knife.  Covers all the chores you have and more when cleaning a deer or preparing for dinner.  Overall length is 8 1/4 inches with a 3 3/4 inch blade.  
 

 

MK22 "Rio"
Great choice for an all purpose knife that can be used for hunting or survival. Approximately 9 inches overall lenth with a 4 1/2 inch blade. Handle construction is mainly mortise tang, but have done them in hidden tang version. Hilt is brass or stainless. Comes in a vertical carry loopback sheath.

MK14 "Selous"
This is a heavy duty outdoorsman knife that can take on the big jobs. Also works well for a survival knife. The blade is a recurve or straight. Overall lenth is around 10 1/2 inches with a 6 inch blade. the handle is full mortise tang, but can be done hidden tang. Hilt can be done double or single.
